Ledine - Krekova koča na Ratitovcu (via Kosmati vrh)

Access to starting point:
At first, we drive to Škofja Loka, and then we continue driving towards Železniki. In Železniki we continue right in the direction of Dražgoše, and we follow the main road to the village Rudno, where signs for Bohinjska Bistrica point us on a narrower road which ascends through the village. Behind the village, the road widen, and loses an asphalt covering. Further, we drive on a relatively nice and ascending macadam road which we follow approximately 10 km, or to the spot, where signs for Ratitovec point us to the left on a little narrower macadam road. Further, we drive to the next crossroad by which on an appropriate place we also park (by the starting point, there is a signpost for Ratitovec and information board Natura 2000 area).

Path description:
From the crossroad, by which we parked at, we go on a road in the direction of Ratitovec, and in few steps we get to a gate, which is preventing further driving. The road ahead is ascending gently, and on the right side bypasses marsh Ledina on Jelovica. A little further, the road entirely flattens, and blazes point us to the right on a gently sloping cart track which only a little further crosses a wider cart track. We continue in the direction of Ratitovec and we continue on a gently sloping cart track which higher brings us on an indistinct ridge, where the path turns quite to the right. Next follows few minutes of steeper walking, and then the path brings us to a forest road which leads from Prtovč towards Mrzla dolina on Jelovica. The mentioned road, we only cross and we continue the ascent on a wide cart track which soon very steeply ascends, and then it flattens and in few minutes of additional walking brings us to a marked crossing.
We continue left in the direction of Kosmati vrh (right mountain pasture Klom) on the path which gradually passes on a forested ridge of Kosmati vrh. The path ahead for a short time quite steeply ascends, and then it brings us out of the forest on a grazing area of an already mentioned peak. Here the footpath partly vanishes and turns slightly towards the left, where it passes on the upper slope of Kosmati vrh. Ahead footpath entirely vanishes, and we continue in the direction towards the south, or southwest. For easier orientation we get help from blazes on rocks, which in fog are not visible, therefore the orientation then is even more difficult. This "path", which is moderately to steeply ascending, we follow all the way to panoramic Kosmati vrh, and we reach it after good 15 minutes of additional walking.
From Kosmati vrh we continue left downwards on a marked pathless terrain, and then blazes point us slightly to the right, where we gradually catch poorly followable footpath. The path ahead is for some time still moderately descending by the edge of precipitous cliffs, lower for some time slightly ascends, and then it slightly descends to the spot, where we join the path from cirque Razor. Here we continue right and in few 10 strides of additional walking, we get to a marked crossing, where we continue left in the direction of Gladki vrh (straight downwards mountain pasture Pečana, right mountain pasture Klom). The path immediately after the crossing splits into two parts, and we continue on the left marked (right is unmarked and less steep), which starts ascending steeply on northeastern ridge of Gladki vrh. The path ahead quickly brings us out of the forest, and with increasingly beautiful views it brings us on Gladki vrh.
From Gladki vrh we descend on a marked path, on which in less than 5 minutes of additional walking, we get to the mountain hut Krekova koča na Ratitovcu.
