Access to starting point:
We leave the highway Ljubljana - Koper at exit Divača and we follow the road further in the direction of settlements Lokev and Lipica. The road which is quite flat quickly brings us to the settlement Lokev. We continue in the direction of Lipica and we soon reach the crossroad, where to the right continues the road in the direction of the settlement Lipica. Soon after the crossroad we park, somewhere near the spot where there are signposts.
Path description:
At the mountain signposts, we continue right in the direction of Vilenica cave. We walk on karst terrain and the path is diverse. By the path there is also a karst abyss, which is also pointed out by a caption on the stone. Soon at the area named Žlebi from the left joins the path from Lipica. We continue on a little wider path partly cart track and we soon reach the asphalt path Lokev - Sežana. We cross the road and we continue in the direction of destination. With the help of the road signalization in the form of a signpost and blazes we follow the path/road and in few next meters we reach the destination Vilenica cave.
The total length of the path from the starting point is around 3300 meters, 55 positive altitude meters and 50 negative altitude meters.
