On the road Vojsko - Nova Gorica over Škrbina to the starting point at Anina koča 1230 meters.
Path description:
To the starting point (Anina koča) on the macadam road. At Anina koča we go left on an unmarked footpath. The footpath is at the beginning easy to follow and after few ten meters it vanishes, but it soon also shows up again. It is winding in zig-zags quite steeply uphill. On the saddle there is a crossing. To the left the footpath descends and runs on the ridge towards Golaki, and to the right soon vanishes into pathless terrain. Uphill we go on a ridge on Smrekov peak. On the top there is Austro-Hungarian boundary marker, so that we know where we are. The peak doesn't have much of a view, because it is covered with low beech trees. In the summer because it is full of leaves there isn't any view at all. For returning we use the same path as for the approach, because otherwise we can get lost.
