Crno polje - Zelena glava

Access to starting point:
From town Konjic we go towards the lake Boračko jezero. The road is ascending towards the settlement Borci. After 11 km from Konjic in the settlement Borci a little before the orthodox church we turn right in the direction of Rujište. The road soon becomes a macadam. After a little less than 4 km from this main macadam we turn mildly right, where we are ascending in hairpin turns another 7 km. This part of the macadam is quite demanding, at least a slightly higher vehicle is recommended. From Konjic to the starting point, there is approximately 1h 15 min of driving. At the starting point, there is a smaller meadow with possibility of parking.

Path description:
From the starting point, we quickly find a well-marked path, which in few minutes brings us on the mountain pasture Crno polje, from which nice views open up towards the peaks on the south (Sivadije 1967 meters). The path then descends a little and through the beech forest leads towards the west. After an hour of walking, we leave the forest and the path leads us on grassy pastures of Prenj. The path is mostly flat with intermediate ascents and milder descends. On the northern side we are accompanied by walls of the peak Osobac (2024 meters). After a good two hours we get to the mountain hut Jezerce. From the mountain hut, we go towards the north past Jezerce (direction Tisovica). The path is slowly ascending and after a half an hour of walking turns firmly left (towards the west) into a rocky dale, on which we steeper ascend below the northern walls of Otiš and Zelena glava. At the next crossing, we turn left (right - Tisovica) and we soon come on the saddle between Kopilica and Otiš. The path here passes on the other side and by few steel cables ascends on the saddle between Otiš and Zelena glava. We continue over the saddle and after 15 min of ascent (on some spots there is a steel cable) we summit the peak.
