Dolga vas - Piramida (Lendavske gorice) (Opekarniška pot)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska highway at the junction for Dolga vas, where we short time drive on the highway H7, and from which we go on the first exit for Dolga vas. When we get to Dolga vas we go past the cemetery, where there is a marked parking lot, but parking is allowed only for the visitors of the cemetery. We drive to the other side of the cemetery, where at the crossroad we go left (right - Lendava) and then we park on the eastern side of the cemetery.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we at first carefully cross the main road, and then we go right towards Lendava. Already after few steps we go left on a side road, by which there are signs for tower Vinarium and the path Opekarniška pot. Next follows an ascent past the fire station, and on the part where the road runs through the forest, we get to a marked crossing, where the path Opekarniška pot branches off to the left.
We continue on the path Opekarniška pot (straight continues a marked path which leads on the road), which ascends through a lane of bushes, and higher it turns right and takes us to fenced garden, where blazes for some time vanish. We continue on the left side of the garden, where through a lane of bushes and in a gentle descent, we get to the foot of a vineyard. We continue by the left side of the vineyard, and higher on a pole we notice a blaze, which confirms, that we are on the right path. We continue by the edge of bushes, and further a gentle path a little ahead at the nearby house brings us to an asphalt road which we follow to the right (if we continue left we get to Dolga vas). Further, we walk past houses, when we get to a crossroad, from which a view opens up on the lookout tower Vinarium, we go left. The path ahead crosses a lane of a forest, and after crossing the stream we go at the crossroad left. Follows an ascent past few houses, and then the road becomes a macadam and a little ahead turns right.
On the part, where the road turns right, we continue straight into the forest and we continue on a path Opekarniška pot. Through the forest, we follow the blazes and arrows, and after few minutes we reach a cart track which we follow to the right. The path ahead leads us past the hunting observatory, and a cart track gradually widens into a road and when we get to houses, the road becomes asphalted. From the nearby crossroad, by which there is a cross, we continue straight, and then in few minutes of additional walking, we get to the lookout tower Vinarium.
From the lookout tower we continue in the direction of pyramid, and on the road which is lightly ascending, after approximately 10 minutes of additional walking, we get to the pyramid, which is situated on the highest point of Lendavske gorice.
