Dom na Gospincu - Hotel Krvavec

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Jesenice highway, take the Vodice exit, then continue driving to the first traffic-light intersection in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerklje na Gorenjskem and Brnik. Upon reaching the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik, continue towards Cerklje and the Krvavec ski centre. At the end of the settlement of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road (which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko) and continue slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski centre. Park in the large, well-organized parking lot by the lower station of the Krvavec monocable gondola, where you buy a ticket and take the aforementioned gondola to the upper station, located next to the mountain hut Dom na Gospincu.
B) From the Jesenice–Ljubljana highway, take the Kranj–East exit, then continue driving towards Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. Upon reaching the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik, continue towards Cerklje and the Krvavec ski centre. At the end of the settlement of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road (which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko) and continue slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski centre. Park in the large, well-organized parking lot by the lower station of the Krvavec monocable gondola, where you buy a ticket and take the aforementioned gondola to the upper station, located next to the mountain hut Dom na Gospincu.
C) From the Ljubljana–Jesenice highway, take the Vodice exit, then continue driving to the first traffic-light intersection in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerklje na Gorenjskem and Brnik. Upon reaching the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik, continue towards Cerklje and the Krvavec ski centre. At the end of the settlement of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road (which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko) and continue slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski centre. Continuing on, you reach the village of Grad, where signs for the settlement Ambrož pod Krvavcem direct you right onto a steep asphalt road (straight ahead: lower station of the Krvavec monocable gondola and Štefanja Gora). When the gradient of the steep road eases slightly, you reach an intersection, where you continue left towards the settlement Ambrož pod Krvavcem (straight ahead: settlements Ravne, Apno and Šenturška Gora). A little further, the road temporarily descends slightly, then ascends through occasionally quite scenic slopes. Higher up, you arrive at Ambrož pod Krvavcem, where you pass the church of St. Ambrož and the tourist farm Pr Ambružarju on the left. From the tourist farm onwards, the road enters the forest and ascends through it all the way to the Jezerca mountain pasture, where there is a large, well-organized parking lot. The road flattens here and turns left; about 500 m further it brings you to an intersection, where you continue slightly left (right: Kriška planina). Then drive on the macadam road for some time, i.e., to the upper station of the monocable gondola.
The road from the Jezerca mountain pasture to the Dom na Gospincu is now closed to public traffic, which extends our route by approximately 30 minutes.
D) From the Jesenice–Ljubljana highway, take the Kranj–East exit, then continue driving towards Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. Path description:
From the Planinski dom na Gospincu mountain hut, located opposite the upper station of the Krvavec monocable gondola, first descend to the garages, from there continue towards Hotel Krvavec (if you arrived at the starting point from the Jezerca mountain pasture, bypass the mountain hut and upper station of the monocable gondola along the lower left side). Continue along the road that leads past the start of the Bike park Krvavec ("downhill track"); just a few steps further, a marked mountain path joins from the left from the Davovec saddle (starting point: Spodnja Kokra, Štefanja gora and lower station of the Krvavec monocable gondola).
Continue along the road that runs alongside the Krvavec summer park, then enters the forest, where it also leads past the adventure park. Above the adventure park, arrive at Penzion Tia; behind the pension, ascend in a few hairpin turns to Hotel Krvavec, located to the left of the macadam road.
