Dom na Smrekovcu - Komen (via Smrekovec and Krnes)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Maribor we go to the exit Mozirje and follow the road ahead towards the valley Logarska dolina. In the village Ljubno ob Savinji signpost for Smrekovec points us right. The road then runs through the center of the village, where we turn left again following the signs for Smrekovec. The road then brings us in Ljubenske Rastke, where we continue right. The road which is at first still paved with an asphalt we then follow in the direction of Smrekovec (Dom na Smrekovcu) and we drive there to the parking lot near the mountain hut.

Path description:
From the hut, we continue left on the path in the direction of Smrekovec. The path at first moderately ascends on a grassy slope, and then goes into the forest, where for a short time steeply ascends. The steepness quickly decreases and the path brings us to a crossing, where we continue slightly right in the direction of Smrekovec (left Komen direct path). The path ahead leads us through a thinner forest relatively steeply upwards. After few minutes, we finally come out of the forest and the path flattens. Next follows only few minutes of easy walking, on panoramic upper ridge of Smrekovec to rocky pyramid, which we see on the top.
From the top of Smrekovec we continue left in the forest. The path starts descending and after a short descent brings us on extensive meadows. Here we follow the path on very wide ridge surrounded by spruce forest mostly slightly downwards. The path then crosses a grazing fence and immediately after that comes to a crossing (path from the peak of Smrekovec to here isn't marked). Here from the left joins the direct path from the hut, we continue straight (right path). The path ahead passes on a cart track which brings us on a little steeper path. The path for some time ascends through the forest and again brings us on a wide meadows. Cart track ends as well and the path then brings us to a crossing. Here signpost points us slightly to the right in the direction of the summit Krnes (straight Komen direct path).
The beginning of the path is a little harder to find but, when we come to the edge of the forest we quickly find it. The path then starts ascending steeply through a quite overgrown forest, but only good five minutes. Then we again come on grassy slopes. Here on the right we in front of us see the fence by which continues the path. After few minutes walk by the fence we notice the peak Krnes, which is on the right side of this fence.
From the top, we return few meters back to the fence and we continue forward by the fence. We walk on the left side of the fence and the path brings us to the spot, where we have to cross the fence again. Immediately after that the path starts descending steeper and in less than five minutes brings us on a marked path, which we left at the ascent to the summit of Krnes. Here we continue straight in the direction of Raduha on the path which then starts moderately ascending and after a short ascent through the forest brings us on a wide meadows below the summit of Komen. Here the path at first slightly descends to the signposts. We continue right (straight Raduha and Travnik) at first gently through a meadow, and then the path steeply ascends and it quickly brings us on a panoramic peak.
