Dom Planinka - Mariborska koča (via the Fram waterfall)

Access to starting point:
From four-lane road between Maribor and Slivnica, at the traffic light crossroad we turn right in the direction of village Hoče (from Sllivnica direction left). We follow the road ahead through Spodnje and Zgornje Hoče towards Slivniško Pohorje. In the upper part of the village Slivniško Pohorje, the road towards Dom Planinka branches off sharply to the right upward. This road after 100m brings us to a crossroad at bar Na Prepihu. Here we turn right towards Planinka and we park on a parking lot by the road. At the parking lot in front of Planinka and bar Na Prepihu only guests are allowed to park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we return to a crossroad and we continue past bar Na Prepihu to the next crossroad, where signs for mountain hut Mariborska koča point us on the left road. After few minutes of walking, the road ends and we continue on a cart track which goes in dense spruce forest. Next follows 15 minute walk on a pleasant cart track, at the end of which we step on an asphalt road. We continue right in the direction of waterfall to a crossroad, where signs for waterfall Skalca point us to the left, on a footpath which starts descending. After 5 minutes of descent, the path brings us to the waterfall Framski slap (waterfall Skalca).
From the waterfall, we return back to a crossroad and we continue on the road in the direction of the mountain hut Mariborska koča. And soon blazes point us to the left on a meadow, where there are several paths. We carefully look where there is a trail blaze and after a short ascent through a meadow we come into the forest, where the path for a short time steeply ascends and then in few minutes brings us to the mountain hut Mariborska koča.
