Erjavčev rovt - Frauenkogel/Dovška Baba (via Brvog)

Access to starting point:
From Gorenjska highway we go to the exit Jesenice - west and follow the road ahead in the direction of Kranjska Gora. And we will soon notice signs for Dovje, which point us to the right on an ascending road, on which we quickly ascend to the upper part of the village. Through the village we follow the road in the direction of Kepa and Dovška Baba, and then we come on a little bigger crossroad, where we continue sharply left in the direction of Kepa. Further, we drive for quite some time on a nicely maintained forest road, and then we come to the next crossroad. We continue slightly right (left Brinje, Rovt Vrse and Požarnica) on the road which a little further flattens and then starts descending towards confluence of the rivers Žaklja and Mlinca (by the confluence of the rivers is situated also a smaller artificial lake). We park on an appropriate place by the confluence of the rivers, or we can also park a little back on one of the appropriate places by the road.

Path description:
From confluence of the rivers we go towards the left stream (Žakelj) and we immediately cross it. A wide path continues on the right side of the stream and we follow it only few meters and then caption "Kepa" on grazing fence points us right on an ascending footpath, on which in few minutes we get above cottage in Erjevčev rovt.
We continue on a marked path, and it passes into the forest and starts ascending steeply. Higher, the path turns a little to the right and brings us on a relatively gently sloping cart track, on which we continue an ascent. The path then quickly brings us to a trough with water, behind it turns to the left and it brings us out of the forest on the mountain pasture Brvog, over which we quickly ascend to the near hunting cottage.
From the mountain hut, we go right and we continue the ascent on a marked path, which passes into the forest. The path ahead quickly brings us on an indistinct partly grassy ridge, but it soon avoids it to the right, on little steeper slopes. A pleasant footpath higher entirely flattens, and then on the more and more panoramic slopes brings us to a smaller slide deposit, over which leads a marked path. With some caution we cross the mentioned slope, and then still relatively gently sloping path brings us to a well Koritec, by which there is a marked crossing.
We continue right in the direction of saddle Mlinca and we continue on the wide path, by which we notice the fence, which is preventing livestock passage on steep slopes.
The marked path soon avoids the fence a little to the left and passes into a lane of a dense forest. The path also short time crosses slopes towards the east, and then it brings us to a saddle Mlinca, where the footpath for a short time vanishes, and then appear more parallel footpaths. We continue the ascent on or little below border ridge and then on the left side of hunting observatory, we notice a well-beaten footpath which starts turning more and more to the right. The increasingly panoramic path is further ascending diagonally towards the south, and in doing so it crosses the western slopes of Dovška Baba. The path then flattens and in few minutes of additional walking brings us on ample grassy slopes of the mountain pasture Dovška Rožca. Here we go left (right shepherd hut on the mountain pasture Dovška Rožca - 2 minutes) and we continue the ascent on a little steeper path, which is ascending on a wide southwest ridge of Dovška Baba. Poorly marked, but orientationally undemanding and a more panoramic path higher flattens and turns slightly to the right, where we step on the main ridge of Karawanks. Here in front of us, we notice not very compact peak Dovška Baba, which we reach after less than 5 minutes of additional walking.
