Horjul - Koreno (gentle path)

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Brezovica, and then we continue driving in the direction of Dobrova at Ljubljana. From Dobrova we continue in the direction of Horjul, and on a regional road we drive to the mentioned settlement, where we can park on a large parking lot before the factory Metrel (on the mentioned parking lot we can park only in the afternoon and end of the week, because the parking lot is intended for employees of the company). If we went on the tour during the week, we look for appropriate parking spot somewhere nearby.
B) From highway Koper - Ljubljana we go to the exit Vrhnika, and then we continue driving in the direction of Horjul. When we get to Horjul, at the crossroad we turn right in the direction of Dobrova, and after 50 meters right on a parking lot before the factory Metrel (on the mentioned parking lot we can park only in the afternoon and on the end of the week, because the parking lot is intended for employees of the company). If we went on the tour during the week, we look for appropriate parking spot somewhere nearby.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on a sidewalk (by the main road which leads towards Vrzdenec), and we walk there to the crossroad, where signs for Koreno point us to the right. We continue past NOB monument, church and Center for the elderly Horjul (DEOS) to a crossroad, where the main road towards Koreno and Samotorica turns to the left, and we continue straight to the near chapel.
At the chapel, the road splits into three parts, and we choose the most right road, on which also the signs for gentle path point us to (on the middle road runs steep path on Koreno). We continue on at first still gently sloping asphalt road which higher passes into the forest and ascends steeper. Further, the road leads us past few houses, and then it returns into the forest and from out of the forest it brings us a little before the open door farm Ramovš. Mentioned farm we bypass on the right side, and then we start ascending on a worse macadam road which a little higher turns sharply to the right and changes into gradually steeper cart track. Cart track for some time leads through the forest and then it brings us to the spot, where the path splits into two parts.
If we continue on the left path we quickly ascend to an asphalt road which we then follow to the right and there with nice views, we ascend to the farm pr'Lenart.
And if we continue on the right path we at first ascend a little steeper, and then the path flattens and it brings us to the spot, where we join the path from Zaklanec and saddle Prosca. At the mentioned crossing, we continue left and in few steps we walk to the farm pr'Lenart.
From the mentioned farm we continue left and on gently asphalt road in 3 minutes of additional walking, we ascend to the church of St. Mohor on Koreno.
