Ivarčko jezero - Uršlja gora (Plešivec) (Železarska pot)

Access to starting point:
To lake Ivarčko jezero we drive from the village Kotlje past Rimski vrelec or Šrotnek.

Path description:
We park the car on one of the three parking lots below lake Ivarčko jezero and we go to a roundabout, where the path takes us past the signpost Uršlja gora on the road in the forest.
We continue few moments below the new chairlift all the way to the bridge, which we cross and we immediately turn right uphill. After fifteen minutes of walking, we can decide also for path Grofovska pot, which branches off to the left – path Železarska pot continues straight. When we come out of the forest we continue below the farm Jurček on the road to partisan monument, where we turn right on the road below the forest. At the spot, where the road continues in the forest signpost points us to the left upwards into the forest. Here we can for a moment take a rest and look towards the town Ravne na Koroškem, Strojna and Košenjak at the back.
We continue all the time through mixed forest on a nicely settled and well-marked path upwards, where we several times cross the forest road.
On the path after a good hour of walking, we can take a rest on a well-settled bench and 15 min higher also have a snack by the source of Uršljica.
A little before the source of Uršljica again join paths Železarska and Grofovska pot.
Another ascent towards the summit brings us to the junction on the Slovenian mountain hiking trail, that runs from the mountain hut Poštarski dom. On this juncture path is nicely settled religious symbol - cross.
We continue on the mountain hiking trail partly also on the road on Uršlja gora. Right below the summit joins also the path from the mountain hut Andrejev dom na Slemenu.
