Iverje - Kamniški vrh (via Hudi Konci)

From Kamnik we drive towards Kamniška Bistrica. Soon at the beginning of the valley, immediately after the large quarry we notice big wooden sign, which marks the beginning of the path Koželjeva pot. A sign points left over the bridge. Behind it by the macadam path there are some parking spots for parking.

Path description:
The path over Hudi Konci on Kamniški vrh is something special. Not only because of the name, which sounds very seriously. It is one of rare entirely independent routes. It doesn't cross any other, which is in labyrinth of the paths and footpaths around Kamniški vrh really rare achievement.
After the bridge there is a parking spot for few cars, and immediately after this there is a crossing. Left goes forest road into a valley of Potok, right on nice macadam goes marked path Koželjeva pot towards Kamniška Bistrica. And between them is the beginning of the footpath which runs over Hudi Konci on Kamniški vrh. We find it few steps ahead from the sign with a map.
Hudi Konci is a ridge, which on the east side sticks to Kamniški vrh.
To the top of the ridge the footpath goes through the forest, sometimes straight uphill, next time in zig-zags, more at the beginning it goes once even below double pole of power line, which supplies electricity for Kamniška Bistrica, few times it splits into two parts and goes a little right and a little left, but everytime both branches quickly come together again. Even in fresh snow or in the autumn in the dry leaves you can't get lost. Just stick to the ridge all the way to the peak.
When we come in Hudi Konci a view opens up towards the south on Ljubljana basin. From the north side the forest reaches right to the edge, and on the south side it is short for just that much, that we can see a half of Slovenia.
Now path becomes less steep, enjoyable, few times it even goes downwards. Only last meters below the top it takes a bit more effort again.
