Jablanovec - Kameniti svati (path number seven)

Access to starting point:
We leave the highway Macelj-Zagreb at exit Pojatno-Bistra. We drive in the mentioned direction and we get to an old main Zagorje road. We get to a large shopping center West Gate. At the roundabout we go to the exit in the direction of Bistra. We continue above the highway and drive to the village Jablanovec, where we park (I recommend parking on a parking lot at the building of the town ​​council and inn Dinamo).

Path description:
Wherever we left the vehicle, at first we go to the church of St. John the Baptist, to where follow the blazes on power line poles.
From the church, we go right upwards on street Kameniti svati. The path starts ascending and after few minutes of walking, we get to the monument of poet August Šenou, who wrote the poem about Kameniti svati.
From the monument we go left and then right, where we get help from blazes. The path on the street is increasingly steep, and when the asphalt ends we go sharply to the left on a forest cart track, and for some time it flattens and in few minutes of walking, it brings us on a wider forest road.
Next follows approximately half an hour of walking on the road, where we at first walk quite gently, and then again increasingly steep. Higher, we are ascending on the western slopes of Kameniti svati. This part of the path is in parts very muddy.
The path ahead brings us to a crossing, where we go sharply left. Our path, which until now led towards the south, turns towards the northeast. Soon after the crossing we leave the forest road and we continue on a narrower footpath through the forest. We quickly get to the spot, where the path splits, and we go on the marked right path (also on the left path we can get to the top) and we come on a forest cart track. Here is also a crossing, where joins the path from the village Ivanec and also the path from Podsused.
From the crossing, we go about a minute relatively steeply upwards and we get to the mountain hut Kameniti svati. It's open on Sunday and holidays, and inside it is also possible to spend the night, and it is supplied only with beverages.
From the mountain hut, we go steeply upwards on roots and we come on a rocky hill. The path first brings us to the upper rock, which is in the forest and doesn't have any view. And after the peak follows also shorter a little more demanding part, on which we descend to a viewpoint, from which an outstanding view opens up towards the west. And another minute ahead there is also a big cross dedicated to Croatian martyrs.
