Jelendol (mansion Puterhof) - Veliki Juhej

Access to starting point:
We drive to Tržič, and then through gorge Dovžanova soteska we drive to Jelendol, where at the crossroad below the mansion Puterhof we park on an appropriate place.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the left road in the direction of Dolžanka and mountain pastures Kofce, Šija, Pungrat and Tegošče (straight - Medvodje, mountain pasture Dolga njiva...). The path ahead leads us past the mansion Puterhof, where the path branches off to the left towards the chapel and towards Mali and Veliki Juhej, and to the right the path to vault of baron Born.
Here we leave the road and we continue left, where we go over a bridge through stream Dolžanka, and then we diagonally ascend through the forest. At the crossing, we go sharply right in the direction of the chapel, to which we get to after few minutes of additional walking.
At the chapel, we go left, and after a shorter ascent, we reach the cart track which we follow left upwards. When the cart track brings us on an indistinct ridge we go left in the direction of Mali Juhej, to which we get into few steps of additional walking.
From Mali Juhej we return to the cart track, on which we still walk for a short time, and then signs for Veliki Juhej point us to the right on a steeper footpath which starts ascending through the forest. Next follows few minutes of a steep ascent, and then we reach the ridge, where we go right and in few steps of additional walking, we get to Veliki Juhej.
