From Novo mesto, we drive in the direction of Metlika. After a good 8 km of driving, we turn from the main road in the direction of Koroška vas, through which we drive and after 1.2 km we get to Jurna vas. We drive through the village and at the end of the village, on the left side by the cross, we can see the first signpost. We can park on the right side at wood storage.
Path description:
When we park the car at the wood storage, we go in the direction on which we came from 100 meters on asphalt and we turn by the cross right. Immediately a view towards the summit opens up, which we have all the time in sight while we walk.
At the very beginning, the path takes us between two homesteads and further, there is only a meadow and the forest. When we go through a meadow at the first crossroad we stick right, and at the second left direction. In the forest, signposts show us where we have to turn. When we come out of the forest we can decide if we will choose easier or harder access to the top.
If we decide for the harder access we then turn left and we follow a beaten path to the top (this part of the path isn't marked at all). If we decide for easier part of the path, we then turn right on an asphalt path and we continue there, to the village Podgrad and at the primary school, we turn towards the summit.
