Koča na Pesku - Koča na Klopnem vrhu

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Maribor we go to the exit Slovenske Konjice and we continue driving towards the mentioned settlement. From Slovenske Konjice we continue towards Zreče, and further we follow the road in the direction of Rogla. When we get to Rogla we continue on the main road which for some time continues without large changes in altitude, and then turns to the left and gradually starts descending. The mentioned road, we follow to the mountain hut Koča na Pesku, where we park on a parking lot near the mountain hut.
B) First, we drive to Lovrenc na Pohorju (to here from the road Maribor - Dravograd), and then we continue driving towards Rogla and Koča na Pesku. Further macadam road then at first brings us to Mašinžaga and then also to the mountain hut Koča na Pesku. We park on a parking lot at the mountain hut Koča na Pesku.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk on northwestern side of the mountain hut, from where we go on a marked path towards Klopni vrh and Zgornja brv. Near the NOB monument the path goes into the forest, through which it is ascending on a cart track. The path soon flattens, and then few minutes continues without large changes in altitude. A little further, the marked path turns right and gradually starts descending on a cart track. Lower, we reach a wider macadam road, on which we continue to a marked crossroad at Zgornja brv.
From the crossroad, we go on a cart track in the direction of Osankarica and Koča na Klopnem vrhu and we start ascending. Higher from the cart track we for some time get on a footpath, and then we return on a cart track, on and by which we for some time continue in few descents and ascents. After a moderate descent we reach a macadam road, and from there already few 10 meters we go ahead slightly left on a marked path, which after a minute of additional walking splits.
We continue slightly left in the direction of Klopni vrh (slightly right - Šumik and Osankarica) and we continue walking through the forest. A little further, we get to swampy terrain, where we carefully follow the blazes and we have to be careful, not to go too much into a mud. Further, we still partly walk on a cart track, and on more wet parts we walk on a parallel footpath. When we reach the macadam road, we go right, and there in few minutes we get to a marked crossing, where from the road a path to Klopni vrh branches off to the left, and we continue on the road which starts gradually descending. When few minutes lower the road turns right, we continue straight on a cart track which is diagonally descending through the forest. After few minutes of descent, we reach another road, where we go left and after few steps, we get to the mountain hut Koča na Klopnem vrhu, from which a view opens up a little.
