From the crossroad at Mrzli Studenec on Pokljuka we turn on the road which runs towards Gorjuše, Koprivnik. Then after approximately 4 km of driving in the direction towards Gorjuše we see road which turns left towards Belska planina and Galetovec. About this we also get warned by signpost on a tree. We leave the car little before the turn off on the left side of the road, where there is enough space for some cars.
Path description:
From the parking lot by the road, we continue on a macadam forest road to Belska planina (approximately 15 minutes), where there are some holiday cottages and in the summer they graze livestock. Forest road leads us by mountain pasture on the right side and further to a crossroad, where a signpost warns, that for Galetovec we have to go on the right path. We continue slightly uphill through the forest and then the path descends and we come on a meadow. The path runs on the edge of a meadow, after that for Galetovec turns left. The path is slightly ascending and after approximately 10 minutes we reach the peak, from where it is beautiful view on Karawanks, Storžič, Jelovica, Bled and surrounding places.
