Leše - Bivak Suška bajta (via Leše churches)

Access to starting point:
From Mežica, border crossing Holmec or Ravne na Koroškem we drive on Prevalje, from there we continue driving towards the settlement Leše. When we get to Leše, we drive to ŠD Leše, where we park on an appropriate place.

Path description:
From the sports field we continue on the asphalt road which is ascending through the village. At the crossings, we follow the road on a slightly left turn-offs, when the asphalt ends, we continue left on a cart track which is ascending on a panoramic grassy slope. Cart track then for some time continues below or by route of a high voltage power line, and higher turns right and past a smaller hamlet brings us to the inscription box and few steps ahead to both Leše churches.
In front of churches we continue left on a footpath which higher passes into the forest, and after a shorter ascent joins to a macadam road. On the road, we lightly ascend and already after few 10 meters we get to a marked crossroad, where we continue on a slightly left road in the direction of Volinjak and the path "skrivnostni svet Žal žen" (right Prapar and Stovčnik). The path ahead at first continues through the forest and then past a watering-place and by ample pasture. A little higher, the road brings us to a smaller hamlet at the farm Hermanko, where on one of buildings we notice a caption Volinjak, and we still continue on the road, on which we get to few minutes distant crossroad, by which there is situated bigger chapel.
From the crossroad, we continue straight, on the road which continues on the left side of chapel (slightly right road which leads towards Mežica, sharply right footpath on Volinjak). After few 10 strides marked path in Mežica branches off to the right downwards, and we continue on a macadam road towards the homestead Andrej. The path ahead leads us past the homestead Andrej, and then continues at first on the western, after that also on the south side of Andrejev vrh. Before the homestead Najevnik we reach a smaller saddle, by which there is a chapel (at the chapel, the path to Andrejev vrh branches off to the left), and we still continue on a macadam road.
Further, the road leads past homesteads Najevnik, Danev, Predovnik, to homestead Kajžar (at homestead Kajžar path towards the nearby church of St. Lenart branches off), which we bypass on the bottom right side. The path ahead leads us on the forest road, and it soon splits, and we choose the upper road (bottom leads towards the homestead Krajnc). Few more minutes we are ascending diagonally on slopes of the peak Jankovec (1200 meters), and then we reach a small valley between the mentioned peak on the left and Kranjčev vrh (1227 meters) on the right.
At the beginning of the mentioned valley path towards the cottage Šahmanova koča branches off to the right, and we continue on the left road which brings us out of the forest on some kind of the pasture. When little ahead path returns into the forest, on the saddle between the before mentioned peaks we notice one of rare signposts (by the path are mostly rare, old and partly already faded blazes).
We continue in the direction of Uršlja gora, on the road which starts descending. After the crossing more distinct torrent we get to slopes of the peak Stribovc (1151 meters), where the road splits. We continue on the right road (left "a homestead" Macigoj and Barbarski graben), which continues to descend, and we follow it to "gladovna voda" (source). After smaller permanent source we leave the road and we continue the ascent right on a cart track in the direction of homestead Obretan, Uršlja gora and Naravske ledine. Cart track quickly once again splits, and from the crossing we continue on a slightly left path (slightly right Uršlja gora), by which we notice a caption "REST-PLAC". After a minute of additional walking on a gentle cart track we get to the bivouac Suška bajta.
