Liboje (Liko) - Sveta Neža (Liboje)

Access to starting point:
To the starting point, we can come from the highway A1, where we choose exit Žalec. In the roundabout, we choose the exit towards Arja vas. Towards the settlement we drive past dairy Mlekarna Celeia. When we come in Arja vas, we drive on the main road all the way to a large traffic light crossroad. We drive straight in Petrovče. We cross a railway track and we drive past the church. When we come out of Petrovče, we soon get to Kasaze. We follow the main road and we soon get to Liboje. When we drive through three quarters of the settlement, on the right side we notice a wooden signpost towards the hill and church of St. Neža. We drive a little further past the signpost for Košnica pri Celju and past the company Liko, d.d. On the left we drive also past a big residential houses. Immediately after the end of the settlement and after the settlement sign Liboje, we can park on a large macadam by the road. We are at the starting point.

Path description:
From the macadam parking lot, we go on the road back in Liboje. Be careful on traffic. We soon come to a crossroad, which leads straight in our direction, and right towards Košnica pri Celju. There we also notice blazes of Slovenian touring bicycle trail on Šmohor. The trail blaze is blue with white line in the middle. We walk straight ahead on the sidewalk of the main road. We go past the company Liko. Soon after this, we again notice a wooden signpost for Sveta Neža. It leads us left uphill. We go on the road and we observe nice meadows in the surrounding. After few meters, we notice the church and the presbytery. To there we have approximately 10 more minutes of walking uphill. The road is slightly winding and has a public lighting. We soon get to the chapel, church and to the top of the hill, where there is the already mentioned presbytery.
We can look around and enjoy in nice day. To the summit we can also come with a car.
