Ljubljana (Botanični vrt) - Črni hrib (Golovec)

Access to starting point:
From Ljubljana ring road we go to the exit Ig, and then we follow the road in the direction of shopping center Rudnik. From the roundabout (roundabout between Merkur and center Supernova) we continue driving on the road Jurčkova cesta, on which we drive to the second traffic light. At the second traffic light we continue right (left Ig, straight center and Trnovo), and then we drive for approximately 500 meters, all the way to the spot, where we will notice on the left side school, and on the right botanical garden Ljubljana. At the starting point, there aren't any appropriate parking spots.
Possible is also access from the center of Ljubljana.

Path description:
From the botanical garden, we continue on a slightly ascending road or sidewalk, which through the underpass and bridge through the railway brings us to a crossroad of road Ižanska cesta and the road Hradeckega cesta. We continue left on the road Hradeckega cesta and we follow it approximately 50 meters and then at the smaller crossroad we continue right in the direction of "Pot na Golovec" and we continue the ascent on a paved and quite steep road. Higher, the road becomes a macadam and flattens a little. The mentioned road, we then follow to the observatory on Golovec, or sharp left turn.
At the turn, which is located right next to the observatory, we notice an information board for forest learning path Golovec, which points us on a wide and at first gently sloping cart track. After few minutes of walking, the cart track for a short time moderately ascends, and then starts gradually descending. After few minutes of descent, we come to a forest road which we only cross, and then we join Trail of remembrance and comradeship. We follow the mentioned path to the left, and after few shorter ascents, it brings us on Črni hrib (highest point of the mentioned path).
