Access to starting point:
A) From Ljubljana on the road Tržaška cesta we drive towards Brezovica pri Ljubljani, by the highway junction we continue right towards Dobrova. After the crossroad immediately behind the bus stop we go left and when we notice a signpost for Gradišče, we park on an appropriate place.
B) From Vrhnika on the old road we drive towards Ljubljana, at the end of Brezovica pri Ljubljani at the traffic light crossroad we continue left towards Dobrova. After the crossroad immediately behind the bus stop we go left and when we notice a signpost for Gradišče, we park on an appropriate place.
C) We leave Primorska highway at exit Brezovica, and then at the traffic light crossroad we continue straight towards Dobrova. After the crossroad immediately behind the bus stop we go left and when we notice a signpost for Gradišče, we park on an appropriate place.
Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the path in the direction of Gradišče, which quickly starts ascending. After a short ascent, we get to the vantage point, from which a beautiful view opens up towards the east, where Ljubljana is nicely visible. Next follows for approximately 20 minutes of quite panoramic and gentle path, and then the path goes more to the left and is for approximately 20 minutes steeper ascending. The path which is marked with blazes and signposts, then quickly brings us on a forested peak.
