Log - Pečke (via Meranovo)

Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Ruše, in the settlement Bistrica ob Dravi we turn left (from the direction Ruše right) towards Log. Further, we drive through Log, a little before the end of the settlement, we notice on the left a wooden bridge and there signs for Meranovo. We park on an appropriate place by the road near the small bridge.

Path description:
From the starting point, we walk to a wooden bridge, we cross it, and then along the bushes we continue to the edge of the forest, where we go left. A little further, the path passes on a slope and starts ascending on an older logging trail, and at the crossings we follow the logging trail, by which continues a worse footpath. Higher follows some more of a diagonal ascent towards the left and we reach a marked crossing on Meranovo, where we continue right towards Pečke and Bolfenk.
Further, we are accompanied by occasional Knafelc blazes, and we continue on the macadam road which past the learning trail Medena učna pot brings us to the farm, where few minutes of a descent ends.
We continue towards Pečke and we start ascending on a wider cart track. Further from the northern slopes, we gradually pass on the western slopes, on which we continue a little longer diagonal ascent. Higher, we cross the stream and behind it we ascend steeper. The steepness quickly decreases and then we continue with a crossing of the slopes. A little further, we cross another stream and on the eastern slopes we lightly ascend to a crossing, where we join the steep path. Here we go left and in a minute of additional walking, we get to the mountain hut Dom na Pečkah.
