Logatec - Sekirica (past ski jumping hills)

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Logatec, in next few crossroads and roundabouts we continue straight, that means on the main road. After the store Hofer we turn on the first road left, where we already notice signs, that to the parking lot we have approximately 350 meters. We park on a larger macadam parking lot below the football field.
B) From the old road Logatec - Kalce we drive to a roundabout at MOL gas station, and from there we continue driving in the direction of highway. After approximately 300 meters from the roundabout we turn right on a macadam road which then past a bigger chapel brings us to a larger macadam parking lot below the football field.

Path description:
From the parking lot on the road, on which we came to the starting point we return to the chapel, and then we continue left (from the direction of access to the starting point right). We continue through a meadow, by the foot of the peak Sekirica, where there is fenced pasture. The path leads us below the pasture, and then we quickly get to religious symbol (cross), where we continue left on a cart track, and there in few minutes we get to ski jumping hills. After three smaller and before the bigger ski jumping hill we go left on the path which starts ascending on a slope relatively steeply upwards. By occasional nice views on surroundings and ski jumping hills we quickly get to the top of smaller ski jumping hills and a little further also to jump-off platform of the big ski jumping hill, by which we are for a short time ascending. Higher, the path leads us below in-run ramp, and then in few steps we reach the top of Sekirica.
