Makekova Kočna - Visoki vrh above Jezersko (via Javornik)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Kranj - vzhod and follow the road ahead in the direction of Jezersko. In Jezersko at the bus stop we turn right into a valley of Makekova Kočna (direction waterfall Čedca, Veliki vrh and mountain hut Češka koča). The road then over a bridge crosses Jezernica, and only few meters ahead at the crossroad at the chapel, we turn left towards the nearby sports field by which we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot by the sports field we continue on a macadam road which is almost unnoticeably ascending parallel with the stream Jezernica. After few minutes of easy walking, we will get to a smaller crossing, where ascending unmarked cart track branches off sharply to the right (by the crossing usually stands a smaller cairn), on which we continue an ascent. Cart track immediately passes into the forest and it brings us to a crossing, where it splits into two parts. We continue on the left cart track, by which we soon notice a warning, which informs us that the path ahead is dangerous (from here ahead in the time of forestry work ascent isn't recommended).
We continue the ascent on a relatively steep cart track, from which at first also a view opens up a little on Virnikov Grintovec, and then it passes into a dense forest. Higher, we cross two torrents from the right towards the left, and the path after the second torrent gradually turns a little to the right, or is for some time ascending next to it. When the cart track turns even a little more to the right we cross a torrent from the left towards the right. Here we need to pay attention, because approximately 50 meters higher to the left an unmarked footpath branches off, beginning of which is because of a new cart track harder noticeable. From the cart track, we ascend on a smaller clearing, and there we already find the beginning of the forest path. The path ahead turns to the left and then it ascends diagonally over relatively steep, at first forested and then also avalanche slope. Higher slope flattens, and we continue through a small valley straight upwards. In the lower part of a small valley a view opens up a little on Storžič and surrounding peaks, and then the path passes into a dense forest, through which is steeply ascending all the way until we get on the ridge of Turni.
Here we continue right (left Turni 1 minute) and the path quickly brings us on a smaller notch between Turni and Skubrov vrh. After the notch path moderately ascends and after a short ascent, it brings us on a ridge south from Skubrov vrh.
When we step on the mentioned ridge we continue right (left on an easier pathless terrain Skubrov vrh 2 minutes) and we continue by an old wire fence, which is ascending through the spruce forest. Higher, we for a short time, we steeply ascend, after that forest gets thinner and the path brings us on the ridge of Javornik, where it turns to the left. We continue on a gentle ridge and occasionally poorly visible footpath we follow to a smaller clearing, from which a nice view opens up. Above the clearing, the path goes into the forest and after few 10 strides of additional walking brings us on an indistinct and with a forest covered peak Javornik.
From Javornik we continue on a path, which gently descents towards the south and it quickly brings us to a larger clearing. With nice views on surrounding mountains we walk on the other side of the clearing, and then we continue slightly left in the forest, through which it is then steeper and steeper ascending. A relatively steep path, which all the time runs on the ridge, higher brings us out of the forest, from where to the top separates us only a short ascent on a more and more panoramic ridge of Visoki vrh.
