Mihov dom na Vršiču - Russian chapel

Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora, we drive towards Bovec or vice versa, but only to the mountain hut Mihov dom na Vršiču, where we park (parking lot is located between 4th and 5th hairpin turn).

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road, and after few 10 strides of walking, it brings us to the mountain hut Mihov dom na Vršiču. The road mentioned mountain hut bypasses on the left side, and we continue there to 8th zig zag (possible also on shortcuts, but in last years are those already entirely overgrown). Only few steps after 8th zig zag, we will notice signs for Russian Chapel, which point us to the left on ascending stairs. After a short ascent on the mentioned stairs we will get to Russian Chapel, which is dedicated to Russian military prisoners, who were building Vršič road or road Ruska cesta as it is named today.
