Oplotnica - Brinjeva gora (above Zreče) (above quarry)

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the highway at exit Slovenske Konjice and we go right on roundabout, which we leave on first exit, direction Slovenska Bistrica. We drive through Tepanje, and then in the settlement Novo Tepanje at the crossroad we turn left, direction Oplotnica - Osankarica. We follow the road until we get to a crossroad right before Oplotnica, we turn left and we drive through the town. On the main crossroad in the settlement we drive straight, direction Kebelj - Osankarica. Almost immediately after the crossroad we notice on the left a smaller park with partisan memorial and mountain signs. We park by the road.
B) We leave the highway at exit Slovenska Bistrica - Jug (south) and we follow the signs in the direction of Slovenske Konjice - Celje. When we drive from Slovenska Bistrica, at the larger crossroad we turn right, direction Oplotnica - Osankarica. All the time we stick to the main road, until we get to Oplotnica. On the main crossroad in the settlement we drive straight, direction Kebelj - Osankarica. Almost immediately after the crossroad we notice on the left a smaller park with partisan memorial and mountain signs. We park by the road.

Path description:
We go through park and over wooden bridges, and on the road we turn at first left, after that soon right on the road Goriška cesta, which soon starts ascending. We all the time follow the road. We soon get to the top of the hill, where we go straight, direction Kovaški Vrh. We descend and we continue left past woodworking company on the road which soon comes in the forest. In the forest at the crossroad we continue straight (right Kovaški Vrh). We follow local road, and soon signpost points us left on a smaller road which at the chapel passes into a macadam. From there we continue on a macadam to the forest, where we soon turn left into the forest. Here it is also possible to park, in this case time of walking is halved. Through the forest, we all the time follow a nice macadam road which soon joins the other road. Then we quickly get out of the forest past orchards, where we turn left and past the chapel we get to an asphalt road. Here we turn right and already after few meters left in the forest on quite steep hiking path. The path soon brings us above the quarry, but the path is protected with a fence. Past the quarry we come on the ridge of Brinjeva gora, where we turn right and we all the time follow the ridge, until we get to the church of St. Neža on a smaller summit Golika (608 meters).
Past the church we descend on a macadam to the crossroad, where we continue straight in the forest. Soon on the right we notice a chapel, few meters after which blazes point us to the right on a rocky path. It brings us to a viewpoint on the top of Brinjeva gora.
On the top there are few benches and inscription book and a stamp.
