Pišnica - Mihov dom na Vršiču

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Kranjska Gora, and then we continue driving in the direction of the mountain pass Vršič. Only a little after the inn and the lake Jasna, we will get to the bridge over the river Pišnica, by which we park on a smaller parking lot. We can also park few 10 meters back on a large parking lot next to TNP signs.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the bridge over the river Pišnica we continue on the main road which crosses the mentioned bridge and then after a short ascent, it brings us to hotel Erika (which is located on the left side of the road Ruska cesta). The road further starts ascending steeper and past two successive zig-zags brings us on a little less steep part. Higher, the path leads us past a religious symbol and only few meters ahead brings us to the third hairpin turn of road Ruska cesta. Here the marked path branches off to the left towards the mountain hut Dom v Krnici, and we continue on the road or a shortcut which cuts fourth zig zag. The road ahead leads past a larger parking lot, after which we soon notice a mountain hut Mihov dom, and we reach it after few steps of additional walking.
