Planina Ravne - Kocbekov dom na Korošici

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Luče, and then we continue driving into a valley Podvolovljek (direction Kamnik and Kranjski Rak). At the road sign between 11 and 11.5 km, we will get to a smaller crossroad, where a road towards the farm Planinšek and mountain pastures Podvežak, Ravne and Vodole branches off to the right (turn-off is marked). We go on this at first still asphalted road which at the crossroads we follow in the direction of the mountain pasture Ravne. On relatively long and in the upper part also worse macadam road we will get to the mountain pasture Ravne (option of starting point). And we drive a little further, on occasionally quite a bad macadam road which we then follow to the parking lot at the end of the road (to here there is 11 km of driving from the valley, of this 10 km of the macadam).
B) From Kamnik we drive towards the mountain pass Črnivec, but only to a crossroad, where the road branches off sharply to the left towards Kranjski Rak (turn-off is marked and is located only 500 meters before the mentioned mountain pass). At the crossroad at Kranjski Rak we continue straight on the main road which starts descending into a valley of Podvolovljek. In the mentioned valley we will only 100 meters after bar Gams come to a crossroad, where the road towards the farm Planinšek and mountain pastures Podvežak, Ravne and Vodole branches off to the left (turn-off is marked). Further, we follow the description above.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the end of the road, we continue left on a cart track which at first slightly ascends. Already after two minutes of walking cart track turns into a footpath which is barely descending on an indistinct wide gentle ridge. After a little less than ten minutes of walking joins the path from the mountain pasture Ravne (possible also access on this path) and turns right. We cross a grazing fence and we follow the path which on the left side bypasses fenced abyss, only few ten strides. Here we come to a crossing, where we continue left in the direction of the cottage Lučka koča, Korošica and mountain pasture Molička planina (straight mountain pasture Polšak). The path ahead slightly descends into a smaller valley in which cold air is retained. The path at the end of the valley turns slightly right and it ascends to benches at the monument of the fallen soldiers.
The path ahead is mostly moderately ascending, only occasionally for a short time descends. On the path which we are ascending occasionally nice views open up towards the peaks on the north part of plateau Dleskovška planota. After a good hour of walking, the path brings us on Sedelce (1840 meters), where joins the path from the mountain pasture Dolga Trata. We continue few more meters ahead on the path which slightly descends to signs for mountain pasture Molička planina and Korošica.
We continue straight in the direction of Korošica and mountain pasture Molička planina on the path which occasionally slightly descends and again rises. The path ahead circles slopes of Veliki vrh and it brings us to a crossing, where the path branches off to the right upwards on the mentioned peak. Here we continue straight on the path which only a little further brings us on a saddle Prag, where there is the next crossing. We continue straight (sharply left mountain pasture Podvežak) on a marked mountain path, which gradually starts descending. After a good 10 minutes of descent, the path flattens and it brings us to a smaller swamp, after which we come to the next crossing. We continue slightly left in the direction of Korošica (straight Molička planina, right Robanov kot) on a pleasant mountain path which starts moderately ascending. The path higher turns a little towards the left, after that joins the path from the mountain pasture Podvežak. We continue right in the direction of Korošica, on traverse path, on which in few minutes of additional walking, we ascend on a saddle Sedelce (1900 meters), where there is a marked crossing.
We continue straight downwards (left Prag, right Ojstrica over Mala Ojstrica) on a marked path which starts descending towards Korošica. After few minutes of descent, we step on ample grassy slopes of Korošica, on which we then in few minutes walk to the mountain hut.
