Planina Vodol - Koča na Travniku

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Maribor we go to the exit Šentrupert, and then we continue driving towards Mozirje, Ljubno ob Savinji and valley Logarska dolina. From Ljubno we drive on the main road for approximately 6 km, and then in the settlement Struge, signs for Raduha and cave Snežna jama point us to the right on narrower and at first still asphalt road. At the crossroads, we follow the signs for cave Snežna jama, and the road which higher loses an asphalt covering we follow to the mountain pasture Vodol. We park by the crossroad, where in the middle of the left turn worse road branches off to the right, which leads to the upper part of the mountain pasture Vodol.
B) From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Vodice, and then we continue driving towards Kamnik. In Kamnik we follow the signs for Gornji Grad and mountain pass Črnivec, and only 1 km before the mentioned mountain pass we turn left in the direction of Kranjski Rak and Podvolovljek. From Kranjski Rak (mountain pass Volovljek) we start descending towards Luče, where we turn right towards Mozirje. From Luče we drive towards Mozirje approximately 3 km, and then in the settlement Struge, signs for Raduha and cave Snežna jama point us to the left on narrower and at first still asphalt road. At the crossroads, we follow the signs for cave Snežna jama, and the road which higher loses an asphalt covering we follow to the mountain pasture Vodol. We park by the crossroad, where in the middle of the left turn worse road branches off to the right, which leads to the upper part of the mountain pasture Vodol.

Path description:
From the turn by which we parked at we go on a side road, on which we quickly ascend to the upper part of the mountain pasture Vodol. Here at the smaller crossroad we continue right and we walk to the nearby mountain hut, which the marked path bypasses on the left side. Ahead we diagonally ascend above the mountain pasture, and then the path brings us into the forest, through which we for a short time ascend steeper. The path quickly flattens and brings us on a saddle Bela peč, from which we descend to the near mountain pasture Knezova planina, where there is a marked crossing.
From the crossing on Knezova planina we continue straight in the direction of the mountain hut Koča na Travniku, Komen and mountain hut Dom na Smrekovcu (slightly left Črna na Koroškem) on the path which starts moderately ascending through at first a thin forest. Occasionally worse beaten path is for some time still moderately ascending, and then it brings us on entirely overgrown slope, from which a nice view opens up on Peca and Golica. Above the overgrown, but panoramic slopes path returns into the forest and semicircular bypasses Presečnikov vrh. Ahead we for some time return on the ridge, where the path surrounded by numerous bushes of blueberries, gradually starts descending. Further easy to follow, but in the morning time often quite dewy path, eventually brings us to a smaller wooden fence, after which we go on a relatively new cart track. We short time continue on the mentioned cart track, after that when it turns a little downwards, we continue straight on a pleasant forest path, which after the grazing fence widens into an old cart track. The path ahead leads us past a smaller stream (by the path there is also trough with water), after which we soon step out of the forest on an ample grazing area of the mountain pasture Široka trata.
When we step out of the forest we continue right (left Travnik, straight Komen) and in a minute of additional walking, we descend to the mountain hut Koča na Travniku.
