Planinska Ravna - Hotel Golte (by road)

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Mozirje, where at the roundabout we go in the direction of Golte and Šmihel. A little further, we come to an intersection at the inn, where we turn slightly right in the direction of Šmihel (left cableway Golte). We follow the road ahead to the village, where on the right side of the road we notice a church. Just a little further, we come to the intersection, where we go left in the direction of the mountain hut Mozirska koča, Golte (Here, the road from the Koroška side joins from the right, by which access is possible for Carinthians). The road then soon brings us to the next intersection, where we go left onto the lower road. The road then soon becomes macadam, and we follow it to a large parking lot before the gate. The parking lot is on the right side of the road and is partly overgrown with grass.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road alongside which we parked. We cross the gate and ascend the road, which soon brings us to the sharp right turn where there are signposts. We continue right and the road brings us to an intersection at the Alpine garden (flowers). We continue sharply left in the direction of the hotel and cableway. The road ahead rises only slightly and brings us to the Hotel Golte after less than ten minutes from the Alpine garden.
