Access to starting point:
From Tolmin or Nova Gorica we drive to Solkan, from where we continue driving towards Sveta Gora. In the middle of the first sharp right turn, we turn left and then we park on a parking lot near the main road.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the wide path (mule track), which is gently ascending towards the northwest. After a good half an hour of walking, by the path, a well pleasantly surprises us, where we can quench the thirst. The path soon after the well, a little steeper ascends and after few minutes of ascent brings us on the forest road, where we continue right. We follow this road to the first crossroad, where we notice signposts. We continue on the right road which after additional 20 minutes of a moderate ascent brings us to Sveta Gora.
PS: On map Goriška 1:50.000 (Kod&Kam) the path is marked as marked, but to a crossroad 20 minutes below the summit, this is not the case.
