Path description:
From the parking lot at the starting point we go along the main road towards the south. Already after few meters at the marked turn-off for Gradišče we turn left on a side road which a little around would also bring us to the top. This side road immediately makes a turn to the right and starts ascending. First, we go past two yellow chapels, which aren't part of Way of the Cross. Way of the Cross officially starts few meters further from the first of 13 chapels in pinkish blue color combination, marked with Roman numeral I. Here we go left on a footpath which is formally unmarked, but it has all the characteristics of normal mountain path and normal hiking equipment (especially boots, optional poles) is needed. This footpath is winding zig zag on a steep slope between the 13 with Roman numerals marked chapels and it is all the time steadily ascending, and higher we get, nicer views are opening up towards the square Podsreda, on castle and through the valley of Bistrica north from Podsreda. When we get past all 13 chapels, we reach the chapel of St. Mohor and Fortunat, which serves as the last, i.e. 14th station of Way of the Cross. From here, on a less steep cart track we reach the church of Our Lady of Sorrows and through a meadow also the chapel of St. Ana just below the summit.
