Poetto - Sella del Diavolo

Access to starting point:
Famous beach Poetto is located 5 kilometers east from the center of the capital city of Sardinia, Cagliari.

Path description:
Entire eastern slope of Sella del Diablo is military area and therefore from this side there aren't any routes. Because the beach Poetto is located on the eastern side, we need at first walk quite far around the hill. From Poetto after 5 minutes we turn left on street Via Vergine di Lluc and at smaller square Piazza San Bartolomeo we turn on street Calamosca. We follow the road straight to its end, where starts marked footpath. The path at first steeply ascends and then splits into two branches, from which we choose the left (right goes path on a vantage point). The path further reaches more panoramic points on beach Poetto. Towards the end of the path at first we come to the hut, and then also to archaeological site, after which the path then ends.
