Pogačnikov dom na Kriških podih - Prisank / Prisojnik

Access to starting point:
We leave Gorenjska highway at exit Hrušica and follow the road ahead in the direction of Kranjska Gora. Just a little before the village Dovje from the main road, the road branches off to the left, which runs in Mojstrana (Vrata, Kot and Krma). We follow the road in the direction of valley Vrata and we drive there to a large parking lot near the mountain hut Aljažev dom. From the mountain hut Aljažev dom we follow signposts towards Pogačnikov dom na Kriških podih; description: Aljažev dom v Vratih - Pogačnikov dom na Kriških podih (over Sovatna).

Path description:
From Pogačnikov dom we go in the direction of Razor and Križ on the path which slightly descends and soon brings us to a crossing. Ahead we go left over the scree (right is Križ). The path here descends a little and then we get to rocky jump. We climb it with the help of fixed safety gear and on the top of the jump we continue left on a slightly exposed rocky plate. On the other side of this plate we again find ourselves on the scree. We continue forward towards the saddle Sedlo Planja, where paths on Razor and Planja branch off.
We go over saddle and go slightly right in the direction of Vršič (left Planja, far right Razor).
On western slope of Razor we follow the path which is all the time slightly descending. After steeper descent and climbing downwards follows a little less steep descent, on which we come on with grass vegetated saddle. Smaller path leads parallel with peak of saddle towards the notch Škrbina. Be careful, not to descend too far into a valley, because this path leads towards Vršič („Jubilejna pot“). Our path immediately starts steeply ascending with the help of steel cables. After notch Škrbina path becomes even more demanding. Next follows some less demanding path, and then turns slightly to the right and brings us in front of the most difficult part. The path at first crosses a vertical slope to the left and then it ascends almost vertically towards the window Zadnje Okno. Next follows a descent into a window, where there are visible freshly broken rocks that fell from the ceiling. Also in late summer we can be surprised by snow. Next follows an ascent on the west side, where a view opens up in Krnica. Here the path turns to the left and then for quite some time crosses exposed slopes towards the west. When we come again on a ridge, the path becomes less exposed and from the left joins the path which branches off from the path Slovenska pot and crosses the south slopes. Again we pass over on steeper northern slopes, follows some of exposed crossing, and later we steeply ascend and we again reach southern slopes of the mountain. We continue slightly right upward and we soon join also paths Grebenska pot and Slovenska pot on Prisank. From here follows only a shorter ascent on the southern slope to the top, which rewards us with a breathtaking view.
