Polhov Gradec (Božna) - Mala Grmada (via Sveta Uršula)

Access to starting point:
From Horjul or Dobrova we drive to Polhov Gradec, and then we continue driving towards Črni Vrh. Just at the spot, where we notice the sign for the end of Polhov Gradec, we continue right in the direction of Mačkov graben and church of St. Uršula. Only a little after the crossroad we park on an appropriate place by the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the asphalt road which soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue right in the direction of Setnica (straight Mačkov graben). We continue the ascent on a little steeper road which after few minutes of walking, it brings us to the spot, where we leave the road. Blazes point us slightly to the left on a footpath which starts ascending steeper through the forest. After few minutes of additional walking, we step out of the forest and the path brings us to an open door farm Pri Mehačku.
Before the agrotourism we continue right on a marked path which leads us past few more houses, after that when houses end, we get to a crossing, where to the right the path continues towards Grmada, and we continue slightly left in the direction of the church of St. Uršule. We continue on a wide, gentle and panoramic cart track, on which in few minutes we get to the church, which is situated in the middle of pleasant meadow.
Behind the church, we continue on a gently sloping path which continues on a smaller valley and runs over pleasant meadow. On the other side of ample meadow path gradually passes on a slope and starts ascending steeper and steeper. After approximately 15 minutes of panoramic ascent we reach the ridge of Mala Grmada, where we join back on a marked path.
We continue left, on the path which immediately after the crossing leads to the summit of Mala Grmada.
