Prebold - Dom pod Reško planino (via Gradišče)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Celje we go to the exit Šentrupert (from Ljubljana) or Šempeter (from Celje) and we continue driving in the direction of Prebold and Trbovlje. Soon after Prebold, the road branches off to the right in the village Marija Reka. Here we turn right and we follow the road few 100 meters, to a cross (near of which we park on a parking lot by the road), which we notice on the left side of the road.

Path description:
From the road, we go on a footpath which after few steps goes into the forest and steeply ascends. Marked, but in parts quite an overgrown path, after approximately half an hour of walking, it brings us on an indistinct ridge, where the steepness decreases. A little further from the left side, the path from Golava joins. We continue straight and the path on which we walk starts ascending steeper again. Eventually, the path brings us on a cart track which we only cross (badly marked). The path ahead ascends through a quite overgrown forest and then brings us on panoramic grassy slopes. The path on a panoramic grassy slope is short, because we soon get to a farm, where we step on the road. We continue on the road which goes into the forest and it is slightly descending. After few minutes of descent, we come to a crossroad, where we continue on the left upper road which soon brings us to the next crossroad at the chapel. Here we continue straight, between the both roads, on a marked path in the direction of the mountain hut below Reška planina. And after few steps of the ascent, from the right the path from Prebold joins. Here we continue slightly left and the path which is at first slightly descending, and then slightly ascending we follow all the way to the mountain hut below Reška planina.
