Preska - Slavkov dom na Golem brdu

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Ljubljana, and then we continue driving on the road Celovška cesta towards Medvode. When we get to Medvode, at first traffic light we turn left across the railway track in the direction of Golo Brdo, Žleb and Preska. Behind railway track we continue right on the main road towards Preska, on the main road, we drive to first road exit on the left. Further, we drive through the settlement, after that, when on the right side we notice sports field of the nearby primary school, we turn left on the road Cesta v Žlebeh. When residential houses on the right side of the road ends, we get to the settled parking lot, where we park.
B) From Škofja Loka, Kranj or Vodice we drive to Medvode, from there we continue driving towards Ljubljana. At the last traffic light in Medvode, which is located about 100 m ahead from store Hofer, we turn right across the railway track in the direction of Golo Brdo, Žleb and Preska. Behind railway track we continue right on the main road towards Preska, on the main road, we drive to first road exit on the left. Further, we drive through the settlement, after that, when on the right side we notice sports field of the nearby primary school, we turn left on the road Cesta v Žlebeh. When residential houses on the right side of the road ends, we get to the settled parking lot, where we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the left road in the direction of the mountain hut Slavkov dom on Golo Brdo. At the last house, which we bypass on the left side asphalt ends, and we continue on a macadam road which already after few 10 meters changes into a cart track. With nice views on "Šmarna gora's" Grmada we quickly get to the forest, where blazes point us to. For some time we walk on forest footpaths, and then we join a little wider cart track which a little further we leave because blazes lead slightly right. Next follows a short descent to an asphalt road which we only cross, after that on a little more overgrown footpath in few 10 strides we get to other road which we follow to the right. From the road a little further, the road towards the nearby tree nursery Žiher - Špur branches off to the right, and we continue straight, where at first we cross a smaller stream and then we get to the settlement Žlebe. On the left side of the road, by nearby residential house we will then notice signposts, which point us sharply left (turn-off of the path from the road is few meters further from the sign). Next follows few minutes of a moderate ascent through the forest and then we come out of the forest, where we continue left and by the orchard we walk to the near house and the asphalt road.
When we step on the road from the left joins the path from Medno, and we continue right on an asphalt road in an already known direction. The path ahead leads us past the hayrack and a cross, after that village Seničica ends. With nice views on surrounding hills we quickly get to another cross, after which starts settlement Golo Brdo. A little higher at the smaller crossroad we continue slightly right and with a view on church of the Holy Trinity we get to a hamlet of few houses. Somewhere in the middle of hamlet asphalt road starts descending, and then splits into two parts, where we continue slightly left on descending macadam road. During the descent marked path towards Jeterbenk and forward towards Katarina branches off to the right, and from the mentioned crossing we descend on the road to a crossroad near the mountain hut Slavkov dom. From the mentioned crossroad, we continue straight and in few steps we walk to the mountain hut Slavkov dom on Golo Brdo.
