Access to starting point:
We drive to Smrečje nad Vrhniko (to here from Vrhnika through the valley Podlipska dolina or from Horjul over Šentjošt), where we park on an appropriate place near the church. We park the way we don't hinder the bus, which has a bus stop nearby.
Path description:
From the church, we continue on the asphalt road in the direction of Vrh sv. Treh kraljev and Lavrovec. After few minutes, we get to a smaller saddle, where signs for Lavrovec point us sharply right on a macadam road, on which we continue a gentle ascent. A little further, the road changes into a cart track, we walk there only for a short time because then blazes point us left on a footpath which is further moderately ascending through the forest. After a short ascent, we step out of the forest, where after a few additional strides, we step on the road. When we step on the road, we notice signs for stamp - left (stamp is located in residential house of the nearby farm), and we continue on a macadam road which we then follow for few minutes. Higher blazes point us to the right on a footpath which then ascends through a lane of a dense forest. The path ahead quickly brings us out of the forest, where then over a grassy slope we ascend to a nearby homestead. Behind the homestead, we again step on a macadam road which we then follow all the way to the peak of Lavrovec.
From the top, we return few steps back, and then we continue in the direction of Goli Vrh. The path ahead starts descending by the edge of a meadow, and then it brings us on a macadam road which we follow to the right. We soon come to a smaller crossroad, where we go straight and we still continue on a macadam road which is moderately descending. A little further, we join the asphalt road, on which we slightly ascend to a nearby hamlet. The road ahead ascends among some houses, and then it brings us on a smaller saddle, by which a chapel is located.
At the chapel, by which there is crossroad of multiple roads, we leave blazes and we continue the ascent on the road in the direction of Goli Vrh. Partly asphalt road quickly brings us in the village Goli Vrh, and we continue there to the spot, where signs for gully Štrajtova grapa and Račeva point us to the left. We continue the ascent on a little steeper road, and it quickly brings us to a smaller hamlet. We follow the road a little further, after that, when it brings us on a panoramic ridge, we leave it and we continue the ascent right on a gentle cart track which at first ascends on a grassy slope, and then it continues on the edge of the forest. A little further, the path passes into a dense forest, through which we ascend to indistinct peak.
