Sora - Breznik (Boben)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Medvode, where from the crossroad at store Spar we go in the direction of Sora. In Sora we turn left towards Katarina and then we park on an appropriate place by the road.
B) We drive to Škofja Loka, and then we continue driving towards Medvode. Still before the settlement Godešič we turn right towards Lipica, and we continue further, where we go over the river Sora, and when we get to the settlement Gosteče, we go left. Next follows driving to the settlement Sora, where we turn right in the direction of Katarina, immediately after the crossroad we park on an appropriate place by the road.

Path description:
From the crossroad, we continue on the road in the direction of Topol, and by the road, we walk to the company Filtertehnika Prima, where signs for Katarina, Sveti Jakob and Tehovec point us to the left. Next follows crossing of Ločnica, and by the edge of the forest we continue left upwards on the macadam road which we quickly leave and we continue right on a cart track. Through the forest at the crossings we follow the blazes and we are ascending on a cart track. On the part, where the slope is steeper, the cart track narrows into a mountain path, and few minutes ahead the path again widens into a cart track, where to a smaller saddle, where there is a wooden cross we follow the blazes.
At the cross, we leave the marked path which turns a little to the right and we continue sharply left on a cart track which quickly splits.
We choose the upper right cart track, and at the next crossing we choose the better beaten left cart track. A little further, the path flattens and we get to the top of Breznik, where few steps to the right we notice a bench and a wooden sign with the name of the peak.
