Spodnji Slemen - Žavcarjev vrh

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Maribor, and then we continue driving towards Dravograd. A little before the road sign, which marks the end of the settlement Spodnji Slemen, on the right we notice red mountain signposts for Žavcarjev vrh, where there is the beginning of the described path. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots.
B) From Dravograd we drive towards Maribor. At the beginning of the settlement Spodnji Slemen, on the left, by the crossroad we notice red mountain signposts for Žavcarjev vrh, where the described path begins. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on a side asphalt road in the direction of Žavcarjev vrh, which soon turns left and in few hairpin turns steeply ascends. At the last house, the asphalt ends, and we bypass the house on the left side. Behind the house at first it seems, that there is no continuation of the path, but the footpath which runs through a smaller ditch quickly brings us to another asphalt road.
We continue upwards to a yellow house, where there is a very loud dog, and then through the yard and orchard we return into the forest. Through the forest, we are at first steeply ascending, and when we reach columns of a power line, it flattens a little. The path ahead leads us on a cart track, later the cart track, and after two benches, the path again becomes steeper. Higher, the path leads us on a macadam road, on which we get to a saddle below Jarčev vrh.
Next follows an easy descent to the settlement Zgornji Slemen, and the path leads us past the farm Jarc and Urbas-Hober and past an old school. We soon get to a crossing, from where we ascend towards the farm Kljusef, where the asphalt which started at the farm Urbas-Hober ends. Next follows an easy ascent through a lane of a forest, past the transformer and through a meadow, and then we get to a spruce forest, where by the path there is also a chapel. The path ahead brings us to the farm Hladin, and from there we continue on the road to the cottage Koča na Žavcarjevem vrhu, where we are rewarded with a nice view.
From the mountain hut, we continue in the direction of Žavcarjev vrh, and after 5 minutes of easy ascent through the forest, we reach Žavcarjev vrh, which is neighbouring peak of a little higher Možičev vrh.
