From the direction of Ljubljana we drive on Gorenjska highway to exit for Bled. Through Bled we continue towards Lake Bohinj. Immediately by the lake, at the church of St. John the Baptist, we turn right and we continue in the direction of village Stara Fužina. In the village we look for appropriate parking lot and we continue on foot.
Path description:
From Stara Fužina we go in the direction of entrance into a valley Voje. By the very beginning of the valley is located ancient bridge Hudičev Most, which connects banks of deep gorge of river Mostnica. On the left bank is just by the bridge signpost for mountain pasture Uskovnica. We continue in this direction. Forested path, partly marked with a little faded blazes, is quite steeply ascending for approximately 40 minutes. Immediately after the exit from the forest we get to grassy mountain pasture Blatce. Already by first cottages we turn right, in the direction of steep cart track which serves for loading cutted wood. After few minutes of walking on a cart track, the footpath branches off sharply to the right, covered with thin gravel. We follow it and we will soon get to well visible unmarked forest footpath which will in 10 minutes bring us to a grassy clearing, from which exceptional view opens up on Lake Bohinj, Stara Fužina and Spodnje Bohinjske gore. From the clearing, we can continue further, to the very peak of Studor.
