Svečina - Čajžič

Access to starting point:
We drive to the roundabout Pesnica and we go to the exit for Lenart. The road towards Lenart v Slovenskih goricah we quickly leave and we continue right in the direction of Zgornja Kungota and Dolnja Počehova, and still before the highway, we go once again right in the direction of Zgornja Kungota. Further, we drive on the main road to Zgornja Kungota, where in the middle of the settlement, we turn right in the direction towards Plač and Svečina. A little further, we leave the road towards Plač and we go left towards Svečina, when we get to Svečina we park on an appropriate place in the center of the settlement.

Path description:
From the starting point, we go on the path which leads through the center of the settlement and leads us past the church and a little further also across the stream. After the stream, we go left, and a little ahead once again left. After the crossroad, we gradually start ascending, and after few minutes of a diagonal ascent we go slightly left, and after a small saddle, we go left on a side macadam road, by which there are signs for viticulture Leber. We continue on the mentioned road, and on a smaller saddle we go right on a marked cart track. Next follows a relatively short ascent on a cart track, and then the path flattens and leads us past the bench, which is situated on a nice panoramic part. A little further, at a smaller crossroad we continue straight, and the path ahead leads us on a macadam road which runs between the forest on the left and vineyards on the right. When the road turns right, we go straight on a cart track, and on the cart track, we ascend to the asphalt road which we follow to the left. We walk on the road only few 10 strides and we get to the bench and inscription box on Čajžič.
