Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Tržič and Ljubelj. We follow the road ahead towards the border crossing Ljubelj, but only to Podljubelj. Here we turn right in the direction of Podljubelj and camp. The road soon brings us to a crossroad, where left over the bridge, the road towards the camp and Tominčev slap branches off. We go on this road which we follow in the direction of waterfall and we park on a parking lot near the waterfall.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on a steep macadam road for approximately 20 minutes to the spot, where behind the stream, which runs over concrete road wide cart track branches off to the left. We go on this cart track and we follow it few ten meters to the spot, where it turns left over a torrent (right private). We then follow the cart track a little less than ten minutes to the spot, where it brings us to two torrent streams. The path ahead continues between the both streams on partly ruined cart track which a little higher brings us into a riverbed of the stream. Further, we are ascending on a riverbed upwards, until on the right side we notice partly ruined cart track on which we continue an ascent. Cart track then crosses a torrent and it avoids it towards the left. Further, cart track brings us on a poorly visible crossing of two cart tracks. We go on the right, which ascends on overgrown slope back to a torrent. Cart track then changes into a barely visible footpath which after few minutes brings us to the source, where there stands a pleasant bench. Next follows an ascent on a footpath which after a shorter ascent crosses a torrent and then on gravel ascends to the scree on our right side. The path then by scree ascends to a saddle Vrh Luž, where we come on a marked path. We continue left on the path which occasionally steeply ascends. Next follows a short descent and then the path starts ascending diagonally on steeper slopes. The steepness of the slopes then decreases and in front of us, we notice grazing fence. We cross the fence and only few meters and then the path brings us on a cart track, where we continue right to a forest road on which we ascend to the hut Koča na Dobrči.
From the mountain hut, we return a little back to the mountain pasture, where signs for Dobrča point us over mountain pasture, past houses upwards. The path over mountain pasture is a little poorly visible but marked. When the path brings us to the edge of the forest path becomes clearly visible and a little further crosses a grazing fence. A little higher, the path crosses a cart track and ascends to a crossing, where joins the path from Brezje pri Tržiču. Steepness here decreases and after few minutes from the right joins also the path from the mountain pasture Lešanska planina. Next follows five more minutes of ascent on with a forest covered upper slope of Dobrča, which also on the summit veils part of the view.
