Trbovlje - Tabor

Access to starting point:
In Trbovlje we at first go to hospital, and then at the roundabout at the hospital we turn uphill in the direction of the settlement Klek. After few ten meters we get to a kindergarten on the left side of the road. A little further there is a pedestrian crossing to short stairs, where starts the path through a meadow towards the forest.

Path description:
The path leads us through a meadow and through the forest, and soon brings us back on the road which we then for some time follow. Before a bigger turn, on the left side there is a steep shortcut. The shortcut brings us back on the road, and straight in front of us is another short shortcut, which cuts the turn. We then follow the road all the way to the settlement Klek. Soon at the beginning of the settlement on the right side of the road there is an inn, and we continue to the first smaller crossroad, where we go right in the direction of Planinska vas. On the left side of the road, we soon notice the beginning of a marked mountain path which leads on Sveta planina.
The path ahead is at the beginning steep, and then becomes less steep. The path runs through the forest and is well marked. The path higher brings us on a meadow, where it immediately splits into three directions. We go immediately to the left and then once again to the left (on the path straight through a meadow we would continue with an ascent on Sveta planina and Javor). On the right side we notice unfinished house and a caravan. We go upwards in the forest, where on the trees by the path, we notice signs of the path. The path is marked with some plastic signs. An easy path soon brings us to the summit, where a view opens up on Trbovlje.
On the top there is also a bench, where we can take a rest.
From the top, the path continues past large rocks, and it is descending past a smaller viewpoint steeply downwards. On this path I didn't continue so I don't know where it leads.
To the starting point, we can return on the same path on which we came from.
Or we can choose the circular path, which immediately at the beginning of a descent branches off to the right side and it brings us to a natural cave in a rocky wall, which is located directly below the summit. The path then continues through the forest. We have to be careful, that we all the time stick to the turn-offs of the path which lead left, because the path isn't marked. Eventually we get to big rock of an interesting shape, on which there is a trail blaze. We go left and then we again follow the path all the time to the left. The path brings us on the road in the settlement Klek, on which we return to Trbovlje.
