Trnovec - Dom na Govejku

Access to starting point:
From Medvode we drive to the village Sora, from there we continue driving in the direction of village Topol (Katarina). Soon after the village Sora we come in the village Trnovec (rarely inhabited area), where we will notice by the road signposts for mountain hut Dom na Govejku, Osolnik and a log cabin Osolnik (right next to mountain signposts there is also a smaller crossroad). We park on a parking lot by the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we carefully cross the road and then we start ascending on a macadam road in the direction of log cabin Osolnik. After approximately ten minutes of a moderate ascent, we will get to a marked crossing, where we leave the road. Signposts for mountain hut Dom na Govejku, point us to the left on a marked footpath which is further ascending by the stream Govejski graben. A little further, we cross the mentioned stream and the path is ascending by a little smaller, right tributary of the mentioned stream. Even a little further through a smaller wooden bridge we cross second stream and then we start ascending on a very steep footpath which higher brings us to an unmarked crossing.
We continue on the right less distinct path (left path leads through the yard of private house therefore is not recommended, blazes used to lead there, but are now blurred), on which in few 10 strides of additional walking, we ascend to a gentle cart track which we follow to the left. Only few meters ahead, from the left joins "path", which leads past the mentioned homestead, and we continue on a macadam road in the direction of the mountain hut Dom na Govejku. The road ahead starts moderately ascending, and we follow it all the way to the mountain hut Dom na Govejku, which we reach after few minutes of additional walking.
