Veržej - Babič mill on Mur

Access to starting point:
A) We leave Pomurska highway at exit Vučja village, and then we follow the signs for Ljutomer. Towards the Ljutomer we drive to the settlement Križevci, where from a roundabout we drive on exit Banovci, Veržej. When we get to Veržej, from the roundabout at Mercator Narcisa store we drive to the last exit in the direction of Bunčani. Only a little after the roundabout a parking lot of the mentioned store branches off to the left, and only few meters ahead we turn left, on the road which brings us to bigger parking lot by the cemetery and a parish church in Veržej.
B) First, we drive to Ljutomer, and then we follow the signs for Murska Sobota. When we get to Veržej, from the roundabout at Mercator Narcisa store we drive to the last exit in the direction of Bunčani. Only a little after the roundabout a parking lot of the mentioned store branches off to the left, and only few meters ahead we turn left, on the road which brings us to bigger parking lot by the cemetery and a parish church in Veržej.

Path description:
Fom the end of the parking lot, we continue right on an asphalt path and for a short time on or by an asphalt road. When few 10 meters further we get to a crossroad with the main road, at the pedestrian crossing we carefully cross it, and then we continue past the memory park of Slavko Osterc. Little ahead we reach another road, by which we notice the blazes of Pomurje mountain trail. Further, we walk among houses, at the crossroads we continue straight and we follow the signs for mill on Mura. When settlement Veržej ends we ascend to flood embankment, and then after a short descent, we reach football field football club Veržej. We bypass the field on the right side, after that follows only a short walk to the nearby Babič mill on Mura.
