Access to starting point:
From south Ljubljana bypass highway, we go to the exit Rudnik and follow the road ahead in the direction of Ig. At the roundabout in Ig, we continue right in the direction of Iška vas, and then in the village Staje we continue right towards the village Vrbljene. In Vrbljene we continue left and then we drive for approximately 100 meters, whereupon by the road we notice fire station. Here we turn right and then we park on a parking lot near the race track Vrbljene.
Path description:
Behind the fire station we notice the blazes, which lead on a wide footpath which starts by race track. The path soon joins smaller local road which we follow to the right and we follow it approximately 5 minutes. At the spot, where the road turns right, we will notice a wide cart track which already after few steps of walking, it brings us to hiking signposts. Here signs for Krim point us to the left, on still entirely gentle path, which soon over a bridge crosses the river Iška. Immediately after the bridge path passes into the forest, where it is then moderately to steeply ascending on a wide and in the summer time also quite overgrown cart track. A well-marked path, higher crosses few cart tracks, and then joins a better beaten path from the village Strahomer.
We continue in the direction of Krim on a gently sloping path, which only a little further brings us to the next crossing, where we join a wide cart track. We continue slightly left in the direction of Krim (right downwards Tomišelj) on a little steeper cart track which higher crosses a forest road. Cart track, which all the time runs through the forest, again flattens and a little further brings us to the next crossing, where from the right side joins the path from Podpeč and Preserje. We continue on a wide, moderately steep cart track which higher brings us to a macadam road which leads on Krim. The mentioned road, we follow to the left, and it quickly brings us to a larger parking lot, or turning point, where from the left joins the path from Iški Vintgar (also the path from Iška vas and the path from Strahomer over Kramarca). Here we continue right through a meadow on the path which past a cross in few additional minutes of walking, it brings us to the summit of Krim.
