From Ljubljana, we drive to Kranj on the old road. At the first traffic light before the road starts descending we turn left. We then follow the road to a crossroad, where a signpost points us to the right in the direction Sveta Marjeta. This road which circles slopes below Šmarjetna gora we follow to a crossroad, where a signpost points us to left upwards in the direction of village Zabukovje. The road then soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue on the left road by which a little higher we park on one of the parking lots by the road.
And from Gorenjska on the top of the hill at the traffic light we turn right and then follow description from Ljubljana.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road which brings us in the village. In the village is a crossroad, where after the hayrack, which we notice on the left side of the crossroad we continue straight upwards. At the spot, where the asphalt ends signs for Jošt point us to the left through a meadow upwards. And after few steps the path brings us into the forest, where it starts ascending. The path at the beginning runs on a cart track which a little higher turns into a footpath which for a short time steeply ascends. The path then brings us to a crossing, where we continue right. The path ahead for some time runs on a cart track which we soon leave because signs point us to the left upwards. After additional few minutes of walking, the path brings us to the chapel. Here we continue left upwards and after a short ascent, the path brings us to the next chapel at the cottage Puščava. We continue right (or left) and the path which ascends on the upper slope of the mountain we follow to the peak, which we reach after 5 minutes of walking.
