Zadnjica - Vršaki (Vzhodni vrh) (via Dolič)

Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora over the mountain pass Vršič we drive towards Bovec or vice versa, but only to 50th hairpin turn of Vršič road (near the village Trenta). Here we turn on a side road which in a gentle ascent, we follow to a parking lot in the valley Zadnjica.
Now the road to the parking lot at the gate is closed for public traffic, so we have to park on the parking lot at the entrance in the valley Zadnjica. This extends the path for good 15 minutes.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the gate, we go to the right road in the direction of Dolič and mountain hut Zasavska koča. The road that is at first gently, and then steeper and steeper ascending we follow good 30 minutes to a crossing, where we continue on the left path in the direction of the mountain hut on Dolič (right Prehodavci). The worse road here changes into a wide military mule track on which we are then ascending. During the ascent, we can observe steep walls of surrounding peaks. After two hours of walking, the path brings us to the next crossing, where we continue right in the direction of Dolič (left Luknja). Still a wide path then in a moderate ascent crosses few steep slopes. Some caution is needed only at the crossing of gullies, where the torrents ruin the wide path, but also on those parts in dry, there aren't any problems. A little further joins the climbing path over Komar, which is otherwise shorter than ours but also more demanding (for experienced mountaineers). At further ascent joins barely noticeable path from ledges Kanjavčeve police, which comes from Prehodavci. Follows only the last a quite rocky ascent to Tržaška koča na Doliču.
From the mountan hut Koča na Doliču in few minutes we walk to a saddle Dolič, where there is a marked crossing. We go on the right path in the direction of saddle Hribarice (left Dom Planika, straight Vodnikov dom na Velem polju), where we soon step on ample scree between Mišeljski konec and Kanjavec. After approximately 30 minutes of ascent, the path flattens, and on the right side we notice a turn-off of the path which leads on Kanjavec. Here we go straight and we continue the ascent on a gently sloping path, which only a little further brings us on a saddle Hribarice. The marked path towards lakes Triglavska jezera, we follow only for few minutes, and then on the left side we notice a cairn, which points us left on pathless terrain between Hribarice and valley Dolina za Debelim vrhom. On easier pathless terrain we ascend on the saddle between Vrh Hribaric on the left and Vršaki on the right side.
Here we continue right on the south (left) side of the eastern peak of Vršaki. Then on a pathless slope, we start ascending, so that we cross southern slopes of the mountain towards the west. In the last part, we then turn to the right and a short ascent follows to the eastern, highest peak of Vršaki.
