Access to starting point:
We drive to Murska Sobota, and then we continue driving towards the border crossing Hodoš. In Gornji Petrovci from a little bigger crossroad we continue left in the direction of settlements Kuzma and Martinje. When we get to Šulinci, at the village fire station we leave the main road which turns right and we continue straight on a side road which on the left side bypasses the fire station. When Šulinci end, we soon get to the memorial Balon, and we drive approximately 50 meters further to a marked parking lot, where we park.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road in the direction of village Boreča, and we leave the main road after few minutes, when signs for Martinje and holiday cottage point us to the right on a side road. We continue on a narrower asphalt road which after the holiday cottage loses an asphalt covering, and then we continue by the edge of the forest, where we go past another house. The path ahead partly leads through the forest, and partly by the edge of meadows and it is barely ascending.
After approximately 35 minutes of walking, we get to a crossing, where we continue left on a marked path (straight - path which leads to the chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Martinje).
The path ahead starts considerably ascending and it quickly brings us to part of the settlement Martinje, where we continue among houses. Next follows a walk on the asphalt road, from which a nice view is opening up on surroundings, and when we reach the main road, we go right and we continue walking on a sidewalk. Before the cemetery, the marked path towards Tromejnik turns left, and we change the side of walking on the road, because after the cemetery the sidewalk vanishes and we still continue by the main road, on which we continue for few more minutes. After few minutes, we get to the nearby house, where we carefully cross the road and behind the house or fenced plot we continue right on a cart track. The cart track immediately splits, and we choose the left one, which passes into the forest (we don't continue by the fence). Next follows a light ascent through the forest, before the water structure we go right and then we quickly get to Srebrni breg, from which a nice view opens up.
